About

Hi! I’m Kathleen—an artist and illustrator based in Chicago.

I strive to bring a unique, colorful, and whimsical voice to the fine art, editorial, fashion, and surface design markets. Everyday life holds so much beauty, and I hope to spotlight these ‘mundane’ daily moments people experience within specific environments.

I studied anthropology, writing, and design undergrad, and recently completed my MFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and it’s been so fun for me to see how all of these interests intersect when engaging in visual storytelling.

When I’m not painting, I enjoy fashion design, TV, learning, time with friends and family, and telling anyone who will listen about how much I love gouache.

Thank you for stopping by!
